Ending this blog
Ok...I'm TERRIBLE at blogging, so it's time to end this blog! The End.
We love having a daughter. She has brought such JOY to our family! I thank my God every time I remember you. Phil. 1:3

Last Saturday was Ethan Sander's first birthday! So, we headed to the park to join all the other babies and to watch Ethan smear cake all over his face. (I'm sorry I didn't include a picture). Sarah had so much fun exploring the grounds of the park. She was eager to take anyone by the hand who was willing to walk with her! She was red-faced and a sweaty mess. We were instructed to wear t-shirts from our favorite college because Ethan's parents are determined to make him a LSU tiger. I didn't have a short-sleeved North Georgia shirt for myself or Sarah- so we had to go with her Aggie-gear! Dad, you would have been proud!! Here's our little aggie:
Oh YES! We've had our 1st birthday, so now I can officially sit in my new forward-facing car seat! WAAAHOO! Check out that hair. (She loves to pull out her little pony tails that Mommy puts in her hair!)
Sarah's first birthday was so much fun! I had this wild idea that we would have Nathan's family & my family come together for the celebration. Well...our house isn't big enough so, we all had to stay in a beach house. It worked out great (despite a few inconveniences- like not being able to put toilet paper in the toilets or one of the shower rooms not having light, but instead skylights!?) Anyway, the weather was amazing! It totally poured the morning of the party, then the Lord sent a MIGHTY wind and dried up everything just in time for the party. The wind died down and we enjoyed a cook-out with our friends and family!
Sarah and I have enjoyed our trip to Alabama over the past -almost- two weeks. We've shopped, seen old college friends, and just enjoyed time w/Grandmommy & Grandaddy! Here are a few pics from the past week... These are my new PJ's.
